Preemptive Love Coalition writes up a little ditty about the event on Aug. 5th [quick note]
by Garret in Charity News on July 28, 2011

I would be a thoroughly bad person if I didn’t mention a post that went up on the blog of the charity we are helping to raise funds for next week. I would be the worst guy ever, I think; a total jerkface, really. So here we are, talking about that blog post you should totally read.
Which brings me to the crux of this post: THIS LINK! Clicking that guy will take to straight to the Preemptive Love Coalition blog and you will be able to read the post. You will hopefully then click around even more to better inform yourself of the situation(s) that the PLC is doing their best to help aid. If you did, you would be super cool and someone will probably randomly give you a high-five on the street tomorrow. It happened to me, is all I am saying.

by Garret in Charity News on January 25, 2011

As you may or may not know, last month we had an event for the YWCA of Oklahoma City; this information has just been splashed up on the home page for two months, so you really have no excuse. This month, because the YWCA is cool, Hardmode.org and the event were featured in their newsletter!

What did you think of the event? [assessment]
by Garret in Charity News on December 9, 2010

As with all good organizations, reflecting upon past occurrences with the objective to get better is not a bad idea. Some places do it poorly, creating forms with imprecise vernacular that change every year making it difficult to judge what they did or did not do well in the past assessment period (not that I have ever experienced that *shifty eyes*). Others, like us, just ask a couple of questions and see what people say.

Hardmode Event 3 photos
by Garret in Charity News on December 7, 2010

In past events, we tacitly decided to not take pictures, not because we think pictures are stupid, but because we all simply just forgot to take any. Our B. This time, however, we had some sweet camera action going on here and there, and I can prove it because here are some pictures!

Charity Game Showcase: Portal
by Garret in Charity News, Games on December 2, 2010

Rounding out our third event will be one of the greatest games ever created. There really isn’t any legroom to deny this fact, and trust me, it is a fact. The game in question, of course, is Valve’s 2007 super-duper amazing game Portal.
