Another Nintendo Direct is in the can, so let’s take a look at what is going on. The new Zelda game deserved its own post, so head over there to check it out. Now here is a rundown of all the stuff shown off today, as well as the video if you don’t want to read.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe

Kirby: Triple Deluxe for 3DS gets its name from the three different game modes in the game. There is a fairly standard Kirby game up front with some 3D elements added, but beyond that you get Kirby Fighters, a Smash Brothers-esque fighting game using only Kirby and his powers, and Dedede’s Drum Dash, a rhythm game using King Dedede played to Kirby music.

Yoshi’s New Island

Good news for Yoshi fans, as one of the directors of the original Yoshi’s Island, Takashi Tezuka, is back working on this title, so maybe it won’t be terrible! Even though all the footage of the game makes it look painfully easy! Coming Spring 2014 for 3DS.

Chibi-Robo: Photo Finder

Oh boy, a new Chibi-Robo! In this installment for the 3DS, you play as ol’ Chibi while helping a museum curator find objects to add to his museum display. The twist? you will be taking photos of real items from around the house for Chibi to take and transport to the museum. Neat! In between photo sessions, you still will have to worry about Chibi’s power levels, and the trash isn’t going to clean itself up. Look for Chibi-Robo: Photo Finder to launch January 9, 2014.

Pokemon Bank

A big ass bank to hold your pokemon you have captured over the years. Available December 27.

Bravely Default

This RPG is set to arrive in the states on February 7th, 2014. The game features Sleep Points, which accrue in between play sessions of the game. They can be used in game to do special things like revive fallen characters or switch out weapons mid battle. Nintendo is also releasing a demo of the game that will actually be worth checking out as it is a complete, short, side-story from the main title.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

Vikings come to DK Island and make things all bad news. If you haven’t heard, Cranky Kong is a playable character in the new game, and he uses super great cane powers straight out of Duck Tales. Coming February 21st.

Sonic: Lost World

There will be two Nintendo themed DLC packs coming down the line. The first piece of DLC is Yoshi’s Island Zone, the best looking Sonic level ever. It’s available now for free. The second seems to hint at a Zelda DLC, but Iwata was tight lipped on that one.

Wii Sports Club

Golf is added to the Club as of today. So there you go. Your club head is shown on the Gamepad, so you can draw or fade your shots at will. Comes with a 24 hour free trial for these games that came free with the original Wii.

NES Remix

This is a downloadable title where select scenes are…re-re-re-REEEEMIIIXED to add interesting challenges. For example, an Excite-Bike stage is played in the dark using only the bike’s headlight to see, or Link being in a Donkey Kong stage.

Dr. Luigi

This game is basically Dr. Mario, but with Luigi! Instead of singular pills, Dr. Luigi throws pills form into an L-shape to defeat the viruses. That silly Luigi. The best feature may be the online play.

Super Smash Brothers

Rosalina is now a character! She uses one of the cute Lumas as a fighting companion.

Mario Kart 8

All you need to know is that the karts go so fast that it makes Mario’s mustache flap in the wind. Otherwise, it’s a ton of wacky business with gliders and gravity tracks that go sideways and upside-down. Available Spring 2014.
