As a recovering World of Warcraft player (lvl 80 Night Elf Rogue named Pickleaxe), it is always fun to see what they are adding to this world I escaped. Today, for example, Blizzard releases their latest expansion, Mists of Pandaria, and it adds cute pandas. CUTE PANDAS, GUYS!

Of course, there will also be new giant bosses and raids to contend with. My only question is how can some of these bad guys on panda island be more powerful than the Lich King? Panda magic, I guess.
Anyhow, make your way over to WorldofWarcraft.com if you are so inclined to get in on the pandaction (that’s panda + action). It costs 39 pandabux and 99 pandapennies.

I left after Frozen Throne, too. I just kind of felt like the game had run its course with the killing of the LIch King. I do miss a lot of the social aspects of the game, but don’t know if I’ll ever make that kind of commitment to a video game again.
The group I played with all lived in the same area, so I could do ten man raids with everyone in the same room and it was amazing. Since that is not the case anymore, I don’t feel like I have much of a reason to go back to the game, although it would be fun to play my old character every once in a while just to see the new places.
