“Where are all the new IPs?” you wonder while reading stories about Call of Duty 13 and Halo 7: The Son of Chief. It’s true that it seems like the big guys aren’t putting out much that is new, but take a look at Remember Me from Capcom, a game that is in the future and is about memory stealing.
The first half of this trailer looks pretty great until the character starts shouting phrases that make the trailer seem like it’s trying way too hard. If from the video you didn’t get the stuff about memory jacking and being a character whose tables have turned, here is the official description:
Neo-Paris, 2084. Take on the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to break into people’s minds and steal or even alter their memories. Arrested, and with her memory wiped clean Nilin must now set out on a mission to rediscover her identity.
Remember Me should launch in May of 2013 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Let’s hope MegaMan is in it!
