The final thing shown tonight was possibly the best game of the day: Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us. We all knew it would be great, but seeing gameplay finally seals the deal.

The trailer begins with Joel and Ellie looking to get to a large bridge across town. Unfortunately, their path is blocked, and they are forced to climb up into what looks like a hotel. From there, they run up on another group of survivors, and about the most tense fight you’ll see in a game ensues. Limited ammo, bricks to the face, and ripping a shotgun out of a bad guy’s arms to turn it on his partner will stress you out in the best way.
