Starting today (if you are playing on PS3), you can be the first on your block to play 400 Days, DLC that will bridge the gap between The Walking Dead Season 1 and Season 2. The DLC will release throughout the week on other platforms, but until then, check out this launch trailer!

From the official site:

Centered on a truck stop on a Georgia highway, The Walking Dead – 400 Days is a DLC episode for Season One of Telltale’s award-winning game series. 400 Days tells five linked stories; each taking place at different points in time and from the point of view of a different survivor, from day one of the undead apocalypse to day 400.

The five stories can be played in any order and will change based on the choices that you make. Echoes of the choices you made in Season 1 will carry over into 400 Days and the choices you make in 400 Days will resonate into Season 2.

We had known that the game was coming in July, but until yesterday we didn’t know when. Different platforms release on different days. Here is the schedule:

  • Tuesday, July 2nd – PlayStation Network(SCEA, North America)
  • Wednesday, July 3rd – PC/Mac (Steam, Telltale Games Store, Worldwide)
  • Friday, July 5th – Xbox Live (Worldwide)
  • Wednesday, July 10th – PlayStation Network (SCEE, Europe)
  • Thursday, July 11th – iOS App Store (Worldwide)

Having just finished the first season not too long ago (review here), I am PUMPED. Let’s hope it lives up to its predecessor.

400 Days is priced at $5. Decisions you made during The Walking Dead affect this DLC, so make sure you play through the first season before trying this out (although technically you don’t have to, but you should anyway).
